Page met us at the front desk when we arrived. She made the arrival very easy and we felt very welcome from the start. We had two pets with it and we got them into the room with no problem at all. Page was very willing to help us with the sanitary bags for a dog waste. Can't say enough about how she helped us when we arrive. One of the reasons we decided on this Best Western where the comments for the breakfast in the morning. The breakfast far away exceeded our expectations with the variety and the quality of the food offered. Having eggs to order for a hotel breakfast is way way above what you expect at hotels. Anybody traveling on I-40 who would be expecting to stay in this area of Texas should by all means stay at the Best Western Plus in Shamrock.

After a long day on the road this was a good comfortable stop Room was clean and comfortable. They had a nice pool and hot tub area for those wanting that amenity. Refrigerator in the room had a freezer which was handy for refreezing our ice pack for the next day. Breakfast was great. Fresh eggs to order, hash browns, bacon, pastries, etc. The woman working breakfast will even make you an omelette..how cool is that! Fuel and fast food options are nearby (McDonalds, Taco Bell) Kind and helpful staff.

At check-in, it was smooth and quick. Great smile by Brittany. We had problems with the tv, and she even came to our room to resolve the problem.. All the time with a big smile on her face and a very pleasant personality like at check-in. She even came in as we checked out the next morning, and with the same big smile. Very dedicated employee and valuable to the place. Great hot breakfast with cooked eggs to order even.

Staff was very nice and offered to give us a late checkout if needed since we arrived so late on a cross country trip. Breakfast was good and had made to order items. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. We have been using AirBnB exclusively for the past few years but just wanted a quick place to rest and refuel overnight on our way back home, this place fit the bill perfectly!

Pool was clean and kept at a decent temperature. Appreciated having laundry machines available for guest use.
